Real Estate Institute of Australia - REIA’𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱-𝗧𝗼-𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱!

This report examines the viability of the Build to Rent segment in delivering on Australia’s 1.2 million homes target. Despite the growing momentum behind Build-to-Rent developments, these initiatives represent a mere 3% of the existing rental stock within Australia’s eastern cities. As an inaugural report, this focuses on the three capital cities that have the most build-to-rent data; and future versions will capture all jurisdictions.
